Destiny review. On 5 post-its

A good game...That just got killed by aggressive marketing.
This game is actually very good but it would have had to cure cancer to be able to live up to the hype that Bungee build up for it..... Very sad :(

I dunno if the story, the characters or the models r the strangest I have seen in a long time but this short is really well done.

Very nice short by Evan Viera. It has a dark subject with an even darker resolution. It is about a girl that goes off of her medication...
Very suggestive.

“Pear Cider and Cigarettes” by Robert Valley

I think I have met one or two people like Techno in my life time...With the biggest heart a person can have, those people are always so down but they seem to live the richest life a man can ever have. If you ever have a chance to see one of them, it will be impossible not to recognize the magnificent sel-destructiveness of their lifes that shines twice as bright, half as long.... from the concept designer of the Gorillaz character Robert Valley

Working at Sony Imageworks

Well, my time in Singapore has ended and my experience at Lucasfilm Singapore is over. I had a blast and I have met A LOT of wonderful people, amazing artists and talented animators.
Now is time to move and a new adventure will start.

The 7th of January I will start working at Sony Imageworks at the new film Smurf 2.

There are many reasons that really make me happy to join Imageworks: The quality of work that they have been producing in the past years is absolutely stellar. The project is quite electrifying because I grew up watching the Smurfs cartoons and to think that I might now be animating and be Papa Smurfs really makes my inner child jump with joy and, I am also quite excited about the move, because most of my dear animator friends are currently working in that area and I can not wait to catch up with them.
So, if I will not update with the lates videos is because I will be UBERfocused on work!

I wish everybody great holidays and I wish myself good luck for the next project!!!

The hobbit: an unexpected journey (hfr imax 3d) just changed film forever....

"The hobbit: an unexpected journey" (hfr imax 3d) is un UNEXPECTED VISUAL JOURNEY... The VFX are something that you have never seen before, that will change film forever and that you will see a lot more in the future. The film story is....bha... However, WETA just created a new kind of film and it is IMPRESSIVE. Watching this I had the same feeling that I had when I watched the first Matrix; I understood that after this picture ,film, was going to change (for me, "the matrix" radically changed the action genere for ever). As soon as directors and viewers will learn how to use this new medium things will change, and in a good way. I want to congratualate all of my friends that had the luck to work on this "game changing" film. You guys just pushed the bar A LOT HIGHER...

"Adam and dog" by Minkyu Lee

Adam and Dog won the Annie for "Best animated short" and it is currently nominated at the oscar for the same category. I am not surprised, this screams "QUALITY"
